We dropped Carter off bright and early this morning at the airport.
His flight left at 9:40, so by 1:40 pm he was in Mexico!
It was a tearful goodbye (at least for this mama),
but I know he will be an amazing missionary!
Here's the email we received from him later tonight:
Hey mom and dad,
I'm just sending a quick email to let you guys know I made it safely and a few other things. I am in district C, branch 14. My P-day is Friday, so let Kenzie know if I can call on Friday I'll call her since you guys will be gone. I'll write you guys next week.

I made sure to tell Kenzie that if he calls Friday (we'll be on trek) that she can let Carter know he can still email us! haha! We'll just read it when we get home Saturday. Can't wait to see how this first week goes!
