week 2: english fast or no?

beautiful morning sky

This week has been really busy. We have had class every day and been learning a ton. Things have been going really well. Tuesday we had a devotional and the speaker was the director of all the MTC's in the world. He spoke a lot on how the gospel changes people and showed us pictures of people before and after their conversions or missions. The difference was astounding. We also tried to have an English fast on Tuesday, from breakfast to dinner, and it fell apart quickly after a few hours. We started strong, and the rule was you had to do ten push ups for every word in English, but we all stopped caring and spoke English.

There has been a lot of rain and Wednesday night it was raining a ton. We were throwing a ball around the classroom when Elder Cox threw it out the window. Since I'm his companion, I had to go outside with him to get it, and as soon as he stepped outside he went down hard. I was dying. Today I was supposed to go to migration with the other Elders staying in Mexico, but most of our paperwork didn't go through. Elder Cox's did, so he left and I'm with the other two elders in my room. It's been really busy and a lot of the same stuff this week, but I can see that I'm improving a ton. I hope everything is going great for all of you guys, have a great week.
