I keep saying there is nothing to take a picture of, but my mom disagrees!
Let's see what else I remember. I had Zone Conference Tuesday and that was really great. We went over things like finding and using the Spirit which was cool. We talked about how the Spirit always gives us the power to follow its prompting. Then we went on exchanges with some other elders and I left the area for the afternoon. Not much else really stood out during the week. We called lots of people, found someone new, and not too much else went on. We've been visiting a family that's been trying to get baptized. They're getting kinda close, but one family member is waiting on his application for citizenship to be approved so that he and his wife (sort of) can get married, and then hopefully, baptized!

Bits & pieces from family phone calls:
Definitely a slow week in Bakersfield. We've divided the ward into 4 sections so that each companionship has a group to work with. We have a lot of members in our area who area active, but we've been asked to bring a member along to visit them (someone to support them when the missionaries changes). We only have a handful or less of active members in our group, so it's really difficult finding someone who can come visit with us, but we're hopeful things will start moving!
Our area doesn't have the same restrictions as LA county, so we can still meet at the church for sacrament meeting and district meetings which is great.
I'm reading "Saints" in spanish which is good language study for me for sure.
We also received a tip from another missionary and were able to find (using the gospel library app) the final video in the Book of Mormon series!
